Pix of the small ones

Last week I had some photos taken of a few of the pieces that will be in my exhibit in June. Then I took them to the Anna Leonowens Gallery and Tonia, the exhibition coordinator, designed the invitations. I should have them next week. Because she is putting four cards on a page for the printer, we used four different images. Very cool!

Here are three images of 6” x 6” paintings. Now I have to think of titles (not my favorite activity!).

Wow! Incredible! These are different from your larger ones. I'm impressed! Leya, now did you have to go and bring up the the word title - its like offering candy to a small child before dinner. Oh, Oh, pick me, pick me, Can I please?

1) Toy Envelope
2) Moon Walker
3) Sun Walker

Thank you, Jackie, for the title possibilities! Any suggestions are most welcome! You are definitely picked!

The first one gives me something of the impression of hurrying.

I agree with Sue, no. 1 conveys hurrying or speed. Would you consider "Momentum"?

Leya, Thank you for suggesting I use my other hand, for painting, what a difference it makes! I had no idea that my left side would feed from a totally different part of my brain. So maybe there is something to that book 'Drawing from the Right Side'.

Usually when I look at your paintings I look into them, like your first two here. But your third one I look down at, like an ariel view, even though I'm looking straight at it? How did you do that? The Magician Painter, ummmmm!
