There was a break this afternoon in the seemingly endless rains we have been having lately and I went out into my garden to start spring cleaning there. I’ve been looking every day for signs of crocus. And was rewarded today. The tender flowers are pushing up through the gravel that was tossed into my garden by the snow plow this winter. He was unusually enthusiastic this year and I am finding stones from my driveway at least six feet into my garden! Spring cleaning is definitely in order.
