I've had a journal online starting in July 1998, but sometimes words aren't enough. Thus this site and its emphasis on pictures.

When I started this photoblog, I was shooting exclusively with an Olympus C3040. I missed my Canon EOS Elan II, but couldn't face the return to film so I bought a digital Rebel in June '04. Other tools: My G3 PowerBook, OS X, iPhoto, Photoshop, and Movable Type. I do little image tweaking, but I'm not a purist about it.

My name is Tamar. My husband is Dan, my son is Damian and my cats are Dante (the red tabby) and Cocoa (the black kitten). Where we live should be self-evident.
